How we use AI on this site

This is a course about working with AI, so it would be strange not to say where its own text comes from: the lessons, chapter summaries and recipes are written by AI language models. Human review is happening chapter by chapter and is not finished — so we do not claim it.

What the labels mean

• AI-generated — the text was written by an AI model. It sits on every chapter and every recipe.
• — a real screenshot with numbered callout markers that an AI placed on it. The screenshot itself is a genuine capture of the tool.

What is not AI-written

• Screenshots of the tools — captured from the running software.
• Prices, model names and comparison tables — checked against the vendor's own pages.
• Links and credits — a recipe that names a source links to it; we do not invent one.

The marks

They are the European Commission's icons for labelling AI-generated content, published under the AI Act's transparency rules and free for anyone to use. We use them voluntarily: this site is a course, not public-interest reporting, so Article 50(4) does not oblige us to. Saying so plainly seemed better than the alternative. Found something wrong?

AI-written text gets things wrong, and this is the reason the label is there rather than buried in a footer. If a lesson states something false, tell us — the feedback button on any chapter reaches a person.
