Third-party bots are built by other users or organisations on top of underlying models, and they can handle your data differently than Poe's own first-party interface does; check a bot's own disclosure before sending anything sensitive through it, since "it's on Poe" doesn't mean uniform data handling.

Annual billing is roughly 17% cheaper across paid plans. Points consumption varies by model and bot, so the same monthly price buys very different amounts of usage depending on which models you actually call; a premium reasoning model burns points much faster than a lighter one. Running effort is watching your points balance and understanding which models are expensive before you run out mid-task.

Restrictions

Third-party bot creators set their own data-handling terms, separate from Poe's own first-party policy; Poe's own privacy commitments don't automatically extend to how a specific bot's creator handles what you send it.
